A simple turntable animation in Marmoset Toolbag.
A Sketchfab preview of the fence sections. (Large file, may take a while to load.)
September brought my patrons something a little bit more complex than my usual fare, largely due to an absolutely stubborn streak in which I was determined to learn how to use Plant Factory. Obviously, I have much to learn, but I was a teensy bit happy with learning how to curly-Q the ends of (most) of the vines and create a set of growing, perennial vines that I could easily sketch along the surface of a fence or building and let the algorithms do the rest.
Gawd I love being able to just draw out plants on my tablet with Plant Factory and watch them grow themselves!
Leaves were from photos in my own garden, processed in Photoshop, Substance Designer, and then back to Photoshop. Vines were an old project I brought back to life in Plant Factory. Fences were modeled in Modo. All textured/baked in Substance Painter with smart materials. Presets were made for DAZ Studio and Poser for my Patrons, and beauty renders were in Vue Enterprise, Marmoset, and Sketchfab.
Regrettably, it was too high resolution with too many maps to get into a Marmoset Toolbag preview for this page, even when I shrank the maps down! If anyone has any tips for bringing the Marmoset Toolbag viewer file size down, I am all ears!!
